Wisconsin governor race to be the most expensive race

National trackers have found the WI governor race to be the most expensive governor race in the U.S. New campaign finance reports show Republican challenger Tim Michels slightly outraised Democratic Gov. Tony Evers over the past month. Wisconsin has seen more spending than any other governor’s race this year. Through September 22, a total of $55 million was spent on the race for Governor.
