MADISON, Wis. — The Hop Haus Brewing Company and Honeybee Cannabis Company have teamed up again to raise money for the Clean Lakes Alliance.
In April, the two collaborated on a limited-edition ale called “Bee Better Have My Honey.” Now, they’ve released a limited edition honey nut brown ale for the fall called “Bee’s Nuts.”

The beer is available on tap at 23 locations and in 16-ounce four-packs at 30 locations. A portion of sales will go to the Clean Lakes Alliance.
“It’s got a lot of really interesting flavors,” Hop Haus co-owner Paul Hoechst said. “So chocolate malt adds obviously some of that chocolate flavors, some darker color to it, (there’s) Munich malt, which adds kinda that bready or roasty flavor, also some roasted barely that adds kind of a coffee flavor, and then honey which is kind of the interesting, I would say star of the show. You don’t really get a lot of that honey like we did in the blonde ale, but it really makes it a kind of drier finish.”
The latest partnership is the third time Hop Haus and Honeybee Cannabis have teamed up on a fundraiser beer.
