MADISON, Wis. — A portion of University Bay Drive at University Ave. will be closed overnight Thursday into early Friday morning as construction continues in that area.
The City of Madison says the closure will last from 7 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday while construction crews install a large storm sewer pipe across University Bay Drive.
During the closure, access to UW Health, the VA, and the American Family Children’s Hospital facilities as well as businesses in the area will remain available by using Marshall Court and Highland Ave.
A gravel access lane through the work zone will also be open for emergency vehicles.
The closure is not expected to last beyond the posted hours.
