CROSS PLAINS, Wis. – There’s a unique way to get the family outside to enjoy the great outdoors.
Get Kids Outside is hosting the 2nd Annual Fall Wonder and Adventure Outing at Indian Lake County Park in Cross Plains on Saturday, October 29th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be hiking, s’mores over a fire and opportunities to learn about animals at the park and engage in educational activities.
This event is designed for school-age through middle school-aged children and their families, especially children and families who attend community centers and other non-profit programs and schools in Dane County.
Organizers say the event strives to have all children be present to the wonder and awe of nature and for them to see themselves as powerful.
