SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Officials in Sun Prairie say minimal damage was left behind when a vehicle crashed into a building on Prairie Lakes Dr. earlier this week.
The crash was reported at about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. When first responders got to the scene, they found the vehicle lodged against an exterior wall of a restaurant. Firefighters noticed minor damage to both the vehicle and the building, but the damage to the building was deemed to be cosmetic.
A building inspector confirmed the minimal damage and the restaurant was allowed to re-open.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital as a precaution. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities did not have any additional information about what caused the crash.
