MADISON, Wis. — It’s never easy beating a team three times in a season, especially when it’s win or go home. That was the task standing in Wisconsin’s way, and Penn State made it interesting Thursday night.
The Badgers won the first two sets, and the Nittany Lions took the next two, so to a fifth set it went.

Caroline Crawford held a block party for Penn State. With three blocks in the set, she finished with a career-high 12 blocks.
Then on match point, Joslyn Boyer served up an ace and Wisconsin took down Penn State again in five sets.
One more win and Wisconsin not only heads back to the Final Four but they’ll also make history, going undefeated at the Field House for the first time. The Badgers face Pitt at 7 p.m. Saturday; the winner heads to Omaha.
