BEAVER DAM, Wis — A Fall River teen accused of stabbing and running over a girl in Beaver Dam last year pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a number of charges he faces, online court records show.
Dylan Lenz, 17, faces felony charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, aggravated battery, first-degree reckless injury and hit and run involving great bodily harm. He’s also charged with a misdemeanor battery count. He pleaded not guilty during an arraignment in Dodge County on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a criminal complaint, Lenz told police he and the victim were in the parking lot of the Walmart store in Beaver Dam on Oct. 15, 2022, when he choked her, stabbed her and then ran her over with a vehicle multiple times. Lenz reportedly said he “was having these really bad thoughts” when asked why he did it.
After posting bond at the end of October, Lenz went “directly into treatment,” his attorney, Christopher Van Wagner, told News 3 Now at the time.
A scheduling conference in the case is set for March 6.
