One Vehicle Accident in Gratiot Township

A deputy from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s department responded to County Highway KK in Gratiot Township for a one-vehicle accident Sunday around 5:30pm. 18 year old Payton Wolf of Warren, Illinois was traveling on County Highway KK when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to exit the roadway and into a ditch, due to the icy road conditions. Wolf was taken to the Monroe Clinic and Hospital by private vehicle. Wolf’s vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
