Local pharmacies feeling strong shortage of ADHD medication

A national shortage of medication to treat attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder has been going on for months, and local officials still are having issues obtaining the needed supply. In October, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a shortage of Adderall. Local pharmacy and hospital officials have been feeling the strain of the shortage, which has been reported across the country.
