MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin is reporting more than 2,000 new cases of coronavirus for the first time in three days.
Combined data from state and county health dashboards showed an additional 2,516* cases of COVID-19 in the state, which makes Wisconsin’s total count of cases since the start of the pandemic 113,722*. The state’s record for since cases in a day is 2,626, which was set on Friday.
Six* more people died, which is a total of 1,286 in the state.
Seventy-nine more people were hospitalized between Friday and Saturday, the Department of Health Services said. A total of 6.2% of people in the state with COVID-19 have required hospitalizations.
DHS said 94,094 people, or 82.8%, in Wisconsin have recovered from COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
