Dubuque Woman Arrested For Assault on Police Officer

Dubuque Police arrested 27 year old Sarvia Alvarenga of Dubuque Monday on charges of assault on persons in certain occupations, operating while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts. A report says Alvarenga assaulted a Dubuque Police Department officer when she was being taken into custody.
