Lancaster Woman Arrested on Drug Charges

On Sunday, a Lancaster Police Officer conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation in the city. The driver was identified as 46 year old Lisa Cooley of Lancaster. K9 Vezer of the Grant County Sheriff’s Department was deployed and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances. The vehicle was searched. Items located in the vehicle included methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, fentanyl, marijuana, illegal prescription medication, nearly $1000 in cash and change, and a concealed weapon. Cooley was arrested and taken to the Grant County Jail. Cooley has been criminally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Amphetamines and LSD and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. The Grant County Sheriff’s Department assisted.
