Pioneers Day of Giving Thursday and Friday

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville will hold its Pioneers Day of Giving Thursday and Friday, and members of the UW-Platteville Foundation Board of Directors have pledged to match any gift given throughout those two days, up to $100,000.  The eighth annual Pioneers Day of Giving spans two days to allow for 1,866 minutes of giving, in honor of the university’s founding year. Typically held each October, this is the first year the event will be held in the spring.   The university’s goal is to receive 700 gifts from alumni, friends, corporate partners and community members.
