Two people were displaced after a fire at a Dubuque home on Thursday morning, though no injuries were reported. The fire happened at around 8:30 a.m. at a residence on Foothill Road in Dubuque. According to a release, firefighters responded to reports of fire coming from the building and arrived at the scene to find smoke conditions in the building and a fire in the attic. Crews deployed hose lines and had the fire under control within 30 minutes of arrival, and salvage and overhaul took another two hours. Three fire engines, two ladder trucks, a command vehicle and a medic unit all responded. Damage to the home was estimated between $10,000 to $15,000.
