Police say a woman was arrested for threatening another with a baseball bat at a Dubuque gas station. 18 year old Jamaria Logan of Dubuque was arrested around 9:45 p.m. Saturday on a charge of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. According to a report, an officer responded to Fas Mart on Central Avenue Saturday night for a report of a disturbance involving a baseball bat. A woman reported that she was arguing with the cashier and then got into an argument with Logan, who was standing behind her in line. Logan then went to her vehicle, came back with a pink baseball bat and blocked the door. Logan initially denied displaying the bat. However, she later admitted to grabbing the bat but stated that she was not going to hurt anyone. The store’s surveillance footage shows Logan coming into the store with the bat and standing near the exit.
