City of Dubuque officials closed the community’s municipal pools early Wednesday after cloudy water caused reduced visibility for a second day. According to a release, Flora and Sutton pools closed early, around 5pm Wednesday and, as a result, there was no adult or open swim for the remainder of the day. City officials also closed the two pools early on Tuesday due to “cloudy water reducing visibility.” Officials noted that cloudy water is a common occurrence in outdoor pools at the beginning of the season.
