City Of Dubuque Services To Be Altered Due To The 4th of July

City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. This includes City Hall and other City offices throughout the city. There will be no trash, yard debris, recycling, or large item pick-up collections on Tuesday, July 4. Those Tuesday collections will instead be made on the preceding Saturday, July 1. The Dubuque Metro Landfill will also be closed on July 4. The first City Council meeting of July will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, rather than the first Monday of the month. The Jule will not operate on Independence Day. Parking meter expiration violations will not be enforced on the holiday.
