Dubuque Police arrested 49 year old Jeffrey Smith of Dubuque around 9 a.m. Friday in the area of East 19th and Jackson streets on charges of assault on persons in certain occupations with injury, fourth-degree criminal mischief, assault on persons in certain occupations and disorderly conduct. According to a report, Smith assaulted two police officers in the course of his arrest.
