Officials in Delaware County say no injuries were reported after heat caused an anhydrous ammonia tank to explode Wednesday afternoon at an agriculture cooperative’s Manchester location. According to a report, Manchester City Manager Tim Vick said a tank at Three Rivers FS over-pressurized because of the heat and exploded at about 2:20 p.m Wednesday causing two more tanks to tip over and anhydrous ammonia to be discharged. Vick said no injuries were reported and that it didn’t appear that any other properties were damaged.
