South Wayne Woman Arrested on Theft Complaint

Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence on McKnight Street in South Wayne Thursday around 5:30am for a theft complaint. As a result, 41 year old Tabitha Taylor of South Wayne was arrested for Probation Violation, Operating a Motor Vehicle without Consent, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer. Taylor was also cited for Operating while Suspended. Taylor was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and remains in custody.
