Man Breaks Woman’s Nose During Assault

Police say a man broke a woman’s nose during an assault in Dubuque Friday. 21 year old Jon Godden of Dubuque was arrested at 8:50 p.m. Saturday at his residence on a charge of willful injury causing bodily injury. Reports say that officers responded shortly after 10pm Friday to the 2200 block of Washington Street for a report of an assault. Officers found 32 year old Kylie Klein of Dubuque on the ground in the alley behind her residence. Klein was bleeding from her nose, had pepper spray on her face, and a broken and bruised nose. Klein told police that Godden punched her in the face. Godden then kicked her in the face, stomped on her and dragged her by the hair.  A woman with Godden pepper sprayed Klein and a woman who was with Klein.
