An Illinois man has been found guilty by a federal court jury for dealing meth and heroin in Dubuque. 33-year old Michael Denson was convicted of one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and heroin and one count of possession with the intent to distribute heroin. Authorities say between February 2018 and February 2020, Denson conspired with others to distribute methamphetamine and heroin in Dubuque and Cedar Rapids. He now faces a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years’ in prison and a possible maximum sentence of life in prison.
