Countertop Manufacturer Plans Expansion in Dubuque

A Dubuque countertop manufacturer plans to create 10 new jobs as part of a $1.5 million expansion project. Vanguard Enterprises Inc. intends to add 30,000 square feet to its facility on Synergy Court to accommodate the company’s growth in its existing product lines. To help fund the expansion, a proposed development agreement with the city would provide up to $271,000 in tax increment financing incentives toward the project over a 10-year period. Dubuque City Council members are expected to hold a public hearing and vote on the proposed agreement on November 20th.
