A felony charge has been dismissed against a Dubuque man, though a related case involving a lesser charge continues. 51 year old Mirsad Masinovic previously was charged in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County with going armed with intent and disorderly conduct. Iowa District Associate Judge Mark Hostager dismissed the going armed with intent charge on a motion by prosecutors. Assistant County Attorney Amanda Lassance requested the dismissal, stating that after a review of the evidence, the elements as charged are not met. A disorderly conduct case from November 30th remains open.
