Local water quality collaborative Dubuque County Watersheds has secured a nearly $14 million federal Regional Conservation Partnership Program grant to use alongside neighboring states. The money will be available to landowners to implement non-structural land management practices. Dubuque County Watersheds is a partnership between Dubuque County, the city of Dubuque and the Dubuque County Soil and Water Conservation District, which has worked for improved water quality, soil health and other benefits of regenerative agriculture practices since 2021.
