Shortly after noon on Friday, a deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to Clay Street in Darlington with Shullsburg Police to assist Darlington Police with threats. As a result, 42 year old Robert Axton of Shullsburg was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Use of a Telephone. He was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and released.
