Two Vehicle Crash in Dubuque Friday

Dubuque police say two people were injured Friday in a two vehicle crash. 53 year old Robert McIntyre of Dubuque, reported pain following the crash and was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment. An unnamed passenger also sustained minor injuries but declined treatment. The crash happened at around 5:40 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Asbury Road and University Avenue. 21 year old Madalyn Mueller of Dubuque was eastbound on University Avenue when a report states she turned in front of McIntyre, who was traveling westbound. McIntyre then struck Mueller’s vehicle on the passenger side. The passenger in Mueller’s car reported minor injuries. Mueller was cited with failure to maintain control and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
