A Dubuque County man has been sentenced to two years of probation for striking a woman with a bat. 32-year-old Tyler Brauhn of Epworth received the sentence in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to a charge of domestic assault with use or display of a weapon. As part of a plea deal, a charge of first-degree burglary was dismissed. The charges stem from an incident on Oct. 3.
