A series of free interactive sessions will showcase the achievements, contributions, stories, and knowledge of individuals within the local Black community.
The “Community Black Excellence Inspired People Series” includes four sessions held this month at the Multicultural Family Center, 1157 Central Ave.
The series is held in conjunction with Black History Month.
All events are held from 6 to 8 p.m., and topics include:
- Thursday, Feb. 8, Black History & Education.
- Feb. 15, Black Love & Healthy Relationships.
- Feb. 19, Black Arts & Culture.
- Feb. 29, Black Community Leadership.
Each event features several local speakers.
