Disabled Vehicle Call Leads To Arrest in Benton

A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to County Highway H in Benton Township Saturday around 9:45pm for a disabled vehicle. However, following an investigation, 42 year old Tabitha Taylor of South Wayne was arrested for a Probation Violation and taken to the Lafayette County Jail where she remains in custody.
