Chicago Man Treated For Gunshot Wound To His Leg

Police are investigating the shooting of a man in Dubuque. 19 year old Michael Harris of Chicago was taken by private vehicle to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his leg. According to Dubuque police, officers responded at approximately 7:18 p.m. Monday to the hospital for a report of a patient with a gunshot wound. According to a report, Harris provided police with limited information about the shooting. Harris was treated and released from the hospital. Police reviewed traffic camera footage showing Harris in the vicinity of the 2300 block of Queen Street prior to the shooting.
