Dubuque Man Arrested For Sexually Abusing a Minor

A Dubuque man has been arrested after police say he sexually abused a minor. 23 year old Christian Dozier-Sadler of Dubuque was arrested Tuesday on charges of third-degree sexual abuse and dissemination and exhibition of obscene materials to a minor. Reports says the Dozier-Sadler, in 2021 and 2022, had sex with a girl under the age of 16 multiple times in Dubuque. Police obtained digital communications between the two from that time frame, which showed messages that were sexually explicit in nature. The abuse was reported earlier this year, at which point Dozier-Sadler was contacted by local law enforcement. In an interview, Dozier-Sadler admitted to police officers to knowing the girl was under the age of 16 and that he kept the relationship private because he knew “it would look bad.”
