No Lafayette County Dairy Breakfast on the Farm This Year

There won’t be a dairy breakfast for Lafayette County this year during June Dairy Month.  The Lafayette County Dairy Promotion Committee Vice President is Dave Spensley of Belmont.  Spensley indicated the breakfast was cancelled because they did not have a farm that could host the event.  He added the committee had two farms that expressed interest, however it did not happen. One of those two farms is looking at hosting next year.  A  decison was made not to hold the breakfast at the County Highway Department Building in Darlington.  That facility has been used previously but attendance is lower since people want it on a farm.
