Wisconsin reported a record high number of 2,887 cases of COVID-19, the highest number of hospitalizations to-date and 21 more deaths on Thursday. The latest numbers come just a day after the state had set a record with 27 deaths reported Wednesday. Governor Tony Evers and Health Services Secretary-Designee Andrea Palm issued an emergency order Thursday to address Wisconsin’s healthcare staffing demands as hospitalizations continue to overwhelm healthcare facilities – especially in places like the Fox Valley, Green Bay and Wausau.
Grant County has 25 new cases … Lafayette County has 8 new cases … Iowa County reported 4 new cases.
