A woman from Lancaster is charged with her 2nd offense of Operating While Intoxicated after a rollover accident in Lafayette County Thursday around 2am. Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to a one vehicle rollover crash on Mitchell Hollow Road in Belmont Township. 30 year old Tiffany Meier of Lancaster was traveling west on Mitchell Hollow Road when she failed to negotiate a turn causing her vehicle to go off the road, roll several times and came to a rest in a pasture. The Platteville Fire Department, Southwest Health EMS, UW Platteville Police and Belmont Police Department assisted at scene. Meier was taken to Southwest Health in Platteville with non-life threatening injuries. Meir’s vehicle, a rental car, had severe damage and was towed from the scene. Meier was also cited for Failure to Keep Her Vehicle Under Control and Open Intoxicants.
