Jo Daviess traffic enforcement campaign results in more than 50 citations

Authorities issued more than 50 traffic citations during a recent seat belt enforcement initiative held in Jo Daviess County. The citations issued during the “Click it or Ticket” campaign included 22 for seat-belt violations. According to a press release from the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, the enforcement campaign also resulted in 23 citations for speeding and two arrests. The campaign was conducted during Memorial Day weekend and concluded Tuesday.
