MADISON, Wis. — Some drivers may need to find alternate routes Wednesday and Thursday nights because of planned lane closures on the Beltline.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation plans to close the westbound lanes of the Beltline from the I-39/90 interchange to Highway 51/Stoughton Road from 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Crews plan to continue asphalt paving as part of the Flex Lane project.
The I-39/90 northbound exit ramp to the westbound Beltline will also be closed. The southbound exit ramp will stay open, but drivers should keep an eye out for crews and equipment in the area.
The highway and ramp closures are weather-dependent and subject to change.
