MADISON, Wis. — If you were on the UW-Madison Library Mall Thursday afternoon, you got an early look at Madison’s newest temporary art exhibit.
The art installation is part of the “Inside Out” project, hoping to raise awareness of the 11 million undocumented people living in the United States.
“Anyone can come, step inside, the picture is printed in a minute outside the truck, and then we paste it on the floor and make a large installation with the faces of the community,” project manager Jamie Scatena said.
The photo mural will only last for 24 hours.
The Inside Out project plans to visit Milwaukee on Friday and make an installation there. Overall, they will visit 17 cities in 6 states over the next few weeks. You can find out more about the project on their website.
