Deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 11 in the Town of Monroe Saturday around 11:30pm for operating left of center. An investigation resulted in the driver, 28 year old Tanner Sweeney of Browntown, being arrested for operating while under the influence. Sweeney was further cited for operating left of center and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, greater than .15. Sweeney was released to a responsible party.
