MADISON, Wis. — According to the Department of Workforce Development’s latest data, preliminary July 2021 unemployment rates decreased in all of Wisconsin’s 12 metro areas over the year and over the month.
A news release said July 2021 rates also declined in the state’s 34 largest cities over the year and declined or stayed the same in all of those cities over the past month.
Unemployment rates also declined in all 72 Wisconsin counties over the year and declined or stayed the same in 71 of 72 counties over the year.
