JANESVILLE, Wis. — The Rock County medical examiner has identified the man killed in a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash near downtown Janesville.
First responders were sent to the intersection of West Court and Pearl streets around 4:30 p.m. on July 30.
The victim, identified as 52-year-old Steven L. Pignato, was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The medical examiner’s office said he died from injuries he suffered in the crash.
Additional testing is still underway.
The Janesville Police Department and the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department are investigating.
