MADISON, Wis. — Madison police are investigating after they say several construction trailers were broken into overnight on the city’s south side.
Officers were sent to the 900 block of Watson Avenue Thursday after getting reports of the break-in. Police say at some point overnight, someone broke into a fenced-in and locked area before breaking into 5 different construction and job site trailers.
Officers are continuing to investigate, but say multiple construction equipment items were stolen from the trailers.
Police didn’t specify what was stolen.
