MADISON, Wis. — Chuck E. Cheese always brings a smile to a child’s face, and that was no different on Thursday.
The location on Madison’s west side held an invitation-only “First to Play” event honoring deserving kids from the area, granting them first access to the new and remodeled game room.
Silas Klaus was one of the kids to attend Thursday. The eight-year-old is fighting lymphoblastic leukemia.
“He was so excited, he came over today to turn on our lights, turn on the show, and introduce the new face of Chuck E. to all of Madison, so we’re really excited,” Chuck E. Cheese Madison General Manager Diane Wilson said.
The newly-remodeled family entertainment and dining venue features new animatronics, as well as an interactive dance floor. The grand opening event Thursday evening also included raffle prizes and an appearance from Chuck E. Cheese himself.
