MADISON, Wis. — Daily lane closures on parts of the Beltline are expected to impact some drivers’ commutes next week.
The highway will be closed so crews can work on the ongoing Flex Lane project, which will let drivers drive on the left shoulder during peak travel times.
Daily closures are scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday on the eastbound Beltline between Verona and Fish Hatchery roads. The Todd Drive ramp to the eastbound Beltline will also be closed during those times.
Nightly closures of the westbound Beltline are also scheduled for Monday and Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. t0 6 a.m. and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The I39/90 northbound ramp to the Beltline will also be closed.
Drivers should plan to use alternate routes and expect delays in the affected areas.
