PORTAGE, Wis. — A 39-year-old man died Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in the City of Portage.
According to a news release, the crash between a motorcycle and a semi-truck happened at the intersection of East Cook Street and Jackson Street around 4:15 p.m.
The release said the motorcycle was riding on Highway 33 near East Cook Street when the rider lost control and crossed into the eastbound lane of traffic, where the man was hit by the tractor-trailer.
The crash is being investigated by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
