RACINE, Wis. — A veteran who had been missing from a Racine veteran’s center was found safe Friday, according to state officials.
Law enforcement officials sent out a statewide alert Friday morning for the 34-year-old man after employees at the Veteran’s Outreach Center in Racine reported the man hadn’t been seen since Tuesday night.
Authorities initially said they were concerned for the man’s safety after staff at the veteran’s center weren’t able to get in touch with him multiple days in a row.
In an updated alert sent Friday afternoon, officials confirmed the man had been found safe.
