A Dubuque man has been arrested on charges related to the sale of cocaine near a Dubuque elementary school. 40 year old Ronnie Griffin Jr. of Dubuque was arrested around 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on warrants charging two counts of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver. Reports say a police confidential informant working at the direction of the Dubuque Drug Task Force purchased cocaine from Griffin in February and March at Griffin’s residence. The drug transactions occurred within 1,000 feet of a protected location. Lincoln Elementary School is located about 185 feet from Griffin’s residence.
