A residence was declared a total loss following an early morning fire in Dubuque County. Multiple Dubuque County fire departments responded shortly after 1 AM to a structure fire on 1st St South in Worthington. The residence was found fully engulfed. The residence was declared a total loss estimated at $80,000. An adjacent residence, was also damaged in the fire. Damage to this residence is estimated at $20,000. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
