MADISON, Wis. — After a year without markets, the Madison Night Market is back..
The first of five markets scheduled for 2021 was held Thursday night.
It includes vendors on 6 blocks of State Street and portions of Gilman Street. More than 50 vendors and 70 area businesses are being represented.
“It’s really important that we continue to remind people how wonderful State Street is, that we bring people down here to shop, to visit, and to make sure they support those local stores,” Madison Central Improvement District executive director Tiffany Kenney said.
Thursday’s market runs until 9 p.m.
Future markets will be held on the third Thursday of every month through December.
