BELOIT, Wis. — Beloit police are conducting a death investigation Friday night.
According to the Facebook post, the investigation was in the 1800 block of Fayette Avenue.
Police said they don’t believe there is a threat to the greater public, but didn’t provide any further details about the death.
Officials asked people to avoid the area while officers investigated. Police made the post around 10:30 p.m.
